I drove 9.5 hours (one way) to purchase a Day 6 bike from Electrify Bike Company. They converted my new bike to an e-bike. It is a lot of fun to ride. It has pedal assist from 1 (least amount of help) to 9 (I've never used). I live in a hilly area; this bike allows me to go anywhere without wondering if I'll have enough energy to get back home. The bike also has a throttle that moves the bike without having to pedal. The throttle is great at stop lights.
I highly recommend Electrify Bike to "electrify" a new bike or one you currently own. I'm having another bike I own converted right now.

Before I got my bike "electrified" it just sat in the garage gathering dust. After I received several recommendations for Mark at Electrify Bike Co., I decided to get in touch and see if he could help me convert my full-suspension mountain bike into my dream electric ride. Mark is extremely knowledgeable and experienced with all aspects of electric conversions, and he very clearly explained all the options and steps in the process. He's the real deal! Now I fly up hills and I can't stop smiling whenever I ride. I can still get an awesome workout and have way more fun doing it. It's already been a game-changer for me and my health. Call Mark and go electric, you won’t regret it!

Great service, quality parts, and superior expertise dedicated to find the perfect fit! When I first heard about Electrify Bikes I fell in love with the concept, but I really didn’t know what I wanted. Mark worked with me for months on the perfect bike for me. He helped me customize everything about my new ride making it the perfect fit for my needs. I’ve been commuting on my electrified bike for almost a year now and it has never let me down. Not only am I riding my e-bike everyday to and from work, it has encouraged me to get back in shape!

My husband Gary likes to ride bikes to stay in shape. He bicycle commutes to work but it is pretty far and there are some pretty good hills on the way. Mark at Electrify Bike told me how riding an electric bike can essentially flatten hills and allow you to ride further, faster and more often. Mark helped me pick out a really nice bike on KSL to convert to an e-bike. It was a light weight Giant XTC mountain bike. Surprisingly, the conversion preserved the light weight and even with an extended range 8 pound battery and powerful 750 watt motor the total weight is less than 40 pounds. He later added a torque sensor that magnifies whatever force is being applied to the pedals for a very responsive ride. Gary loves it. He can commute to work and get exercise without needing a shower when he gets there. Then he can turn down the motor assist for the ride home and get a more intense workout. Electrify Bike did an awesome job.

I saw an electric bike Mark had converted and it was awesome. He let me take it for a spin and I couldn't believe that first ride. It got me thinking that if my wife had one she might be up for the longer rides I was hoping for when we bought our Townies together. I had Mark at Electrify Bike do an electric conversion on her Townie as a surprise for her birthday. It worked. We went for longer rides more often. The only problem was that I always wanted to ride her bike! She had Mark convert my Townie for my birthday. The bikes are beautiful and the converted bikes are lighter and more powerful than we imagined. They go much further and faster than the electric Townies that come from the factory and amazingly the price was less than half! The bikes are a huge hit with our Grandkids and extended family as well.

Adam and the team at Electrify were awesome to work with! I sent a detailed list of questions via email and they responded almost instantly, and then followed up my web order with a phone call to make sure I understood the implications of some of my choices. There are lots of places to spend your money on the Internet, but it's rare to find this level of personal service. My order shipped quickly and arrived in great condition, and now I'm tooling around giggling like a schoolboy.

Here's the short version if you're in a hurry: This is an outstanding company to work with, and doing an ebike conversion (if you want a fun/fast bike, use a BBSHD motor and a 52V battery) is a far better way to go than buying a factory made ebike. In my experience, with a conversion you'll end up with better performance, higher speed, more torque, and better components at usually around half the price.
Here's the long version if you're into ebikes and want to know more about why I'm saying the above things:
I purchased my third ebike from Electrify Bike Co (the other two were from Lunacycle), and I want to thank Mark and the folks at Electrify Bike Co. for going above and beyond to help me out. After my previous ebike was stolen (word to the wise --it's worth it to invest in a solid u-lock like an Abus Granite to keep your bike secure) I was looking at bike shops across the country for something to replace that bike with, but I couldn't find anything in my price range and frame size. I knew I wanted BBSHD power, a 52V battery, and 27.5 plus size tires (which are awesome on an electric bike). I was ready to convert a bike myself, but I couldn't find the frame I wanted in a 17" size. Then I found a bike that checked all the boxes for me with Electrify Bike Co, and the price was almost exactly the same as it would have been had I done the conversion work myself.
Mark set up the bike exactly the way I wanted it (shift sensor, BBSHD, 52V Shark Pack, Lekkie 42T bling ring, 750C color display) plus he threw in a charging adapter so I could use my old charger (from Lunacycle). The bike was shipped promptly, and it arrived well-packed in a sturdy box. All I needed to do was attach the handlebar, screw in some pedals, charge the battery, and I was off riding again.
Overall, it's a clean build. Electrify did a great job hiding and securing the cables and cords, and attaching the BBSHD in a solid way. The chain alignment is near perfect (all 11 gears work smoothly).
The bike itself is amazing --with BBSHD power (around 1500w max) and 27.5+ tires you can climb like a beast. And the 42T Lekkie chain ring means it's easy to get this bike up over 30mph on flats. I use this bike both for commuting year-round (in snow or sunshine), and trail riding.
The bike is fast, smooth, and super fun to ride. I highly recommend this build, and I'm also going to be recommending Electrify Bike Co to many of my friends who want to convert a bike. They're a great company to work with.
