KT-LCD3 for TSDZ2 Flexible Open Source (FOS) Firmware
KT-LCD3 pre-wired with 5-pin green female higo connector to work with same harness as 850C color display on TSDZ2 with FOS firmware. The optional Bafang 1 To 4 Cables below allow use of all of the bafang throttles and brake cutoff sensors. These are all selectable for inclusion with the KT-LCD3 display.The harnesses available below are also compatible with the stock 850C color display and will be plug and play when the 850C open source firmware is ready.
The KT-LCD3 and the custom female 1to4 cable come as is from their respective factories. There are no splices on any of the cables. These are custom made at the factories as specified by Electrify Bike Co. to work with the FOS firmware.
This KT-LCD3 display has the stock KT firmware in it but is ready to flash with the FOS Firmware. You can do this following the instructions on github or you can have us do it for a small fee. Select which you want below.
If you purchased a KT-LCD3 display somewhere else it is not compatible with the bafang style 1to4 cables available on this page. It is also not compatible with the 850C if ever want to upgrade. You can splice a female 5 pin green connector onto it (drop us a note for pinout). Oryou can follow the directions to interface it to an alternate non-Bafang type 1to4 cable provided by Tomtom50 on Endless Sphere.

Choose harness based on what kind of motor you have. If you have a standard 8 pin male connector on your TSDZ2 that came with a stock display like the VLCD5, VLCD6, or XH-18, then pick a female harness. If the female 1to4 harness is out of stock you can select the "1to4 harness with male 8 pin and 8 pin extension cable" and splice them according to the splicing instructions below.
If you have a female connector on your TSDZ2 then you probably already have the harness that works with this display. You probably bought a motor with an 850C or 750C display. If you need this harness select the male version.
If you have a 6 pin male connector on your TSDZ2 get the 8 pin male harness and splice it according to the splicing instructions below.
Splicing a female 1T4 cable for 8 pin TSDZ2:
You need a Bafang 1T4 cable and an extender. Cut off the 8 pin male connector from the 1T4 cable and splice on the 8 pin female from the extender with the wires mapped as follows:

A cable made as above will be functionally equivalent to the 1to4 harness with female 8 pin connector.
Splicing a female 1T4 cable for 6 pin TSDZ2:
You need a Bafang 1T4 cable and an extender. Cut off the 8 pin male connector from the 1T4 cable and splice to the 6 pin connector by cutting it off or opening up the the cable and splicing to the wires (leaving the 6 pin connector intact) with the wires mapped as follows:

Both the KT-LCD3 and the 850C displays will work with this 6 pin spliced cable. 2 wire brake cutoffs will also work including the mechanical levers and magnetic sensors soldon this page. However, the throttles and HWBS brake cutoff will not work as they require additional wires. The HWBS requires +5 and the throttle requires +5 and throttle signal.
